Hosted in silicified felsic volcanic
tuffs.
Geochemical anomalies occur in various portions of the
alteration area. Alteration is moderate silicification
over an area 700 by 500 meters controlled by three NE
trending faults. The property was visited and sampled
by Anglo Gold due to the proximity to their Rescatada
property. 3 of 29 samples collected by Angol Gold yielded
values greater than 1.5 ppm Au. 4 samples yielded Au
values greater than 0.5 ppm Au. 9 samples yielded values
between 30 and 150 ppb gold.
High grade silver ore was mined from stopes by the owners.
The owners wish to option the property and are open
to proposals.
The property requires a 4 day field visit to verify
and expand on the available data.
